A thoughtful placement collective connecting families with trusted caregivers through values alignment, clear expectations, and intentional support.
Great villages aren’t just built, they’re Tended.
The Tended Way
The caregiver–child relationship is sacred, and creating aligned partnerships between families and caregivers is at the heart of what we do.
Tended thoughtfully connects families seeking trusted support with caregivers seeking meaningful, stable work, building relationships rooted in clarity, trust, and mutual respect.
We work with fewer families and caregivers at a time, so every introduction can be made with care.
Because Tended is a referral-based placement collective, each family and caregiver is personally reviewed before being invited to participate in the matching process. Our questionnaires illuminate values, expectations, communication styles, and timing, so every introduction begins on shared ground.
Our Fair-Commitment Contract offers a clear framework from day one, helping families and caregivers begin working together with shared expectations and confidence. When helpful, Tended also offers communication guidance to support strong early alignment as relationships grow.
Tended is a curated placement collective shaped by real referrals, thoughtful review, and conscious communication, building the kind of support families can rely on.
How it Works
Getting started should feel simple, supported, and straightforward.
Share your profile
Complete a short questionnaire to help us understand your values, preferences, timing, and communication style. Participation in Tended typically begins through referral or trusted introduction, and each profile is thoughtfully reviewed before moving forward with introductions.
We look for alignment
We personally review every profile and identify matches rooted in values, working style, and long-term compatibility.
Introductory conversation
Families and caregivers participate in a short introduction call so we can better understand the role and ensure strong early alignment before matching begins.
Receive curated introductions
Families typically receive 1–3 caregiver bios; caregivers also receive family bios when timing and alignment are strong.
Prepare & connect
Both families and caregivers receive an interview preparation guide to support clear early conversations.
Start strong
Use our Fair-Commitment Contract and structured guidance to begin the relationship with clarity and confidence.
Simple. Human. Intentional. Fewer introductions. Stronger relationships.
Founding families
I’m currently working with a small number of founding families as Tended launches locally this spring. Founding family placement support is offered at $2,000 and includes personalized matching, introductions, and guidance through interviewing, onboarding, and early communication.
Why Families Choose Tended
Families come to Tended when they’re looking for more than a list of candidates.
As a referral-based placement collective, we review values, expectations, communication style, and timing for every introduction so relationships start on shared ground from the very first conversation. Because we work with a limited number of families at a time, introductions are shared only when alignment is strong.
Tended supports families in building caregiver partnerships designed to last with clarity, structure, and communication support along the way.
Because anyone involved in helping raise our children should be respected, trusted, and truly supported, and the strongest relationships take intention, care, and tending.
Apply to be considered for the Tended Collective, a growing community of families and caregivers redefining what conscious care looks like.
We are currently welcoming a small number of families as part of Tended’s early placement pilot. Participation begins through referral and alignment.
